Hello everybody,

Am planing to visit England after two weeks and planing to rent a MOTORHOME to spend a few days in Lake District :camper:, but after looking for something online a lot of the reviews was not good :mad2:. So please could you suggest the best MOTORHOMES rental in the UK?

Many thanks in advance

It depends on where you are in the country, but near here is Peter Roberts caravans Honley, near Huddersfield a small family firm with a good reputation, hires motorhomes out,

You can also try bunk motorhomes, motorhome rental (Broxburn ) and they can inform you off pick up and drop off points if this is of help

I'm not sure where you'll enter the UK but if you arrive into one of the London airports and want to hire a motorhome then drive northwards you might want to check out Justgo (Motorhome hire, Motorhome rental UK Just go motorhome hire uk) near Luton airport. They offer a courtesy pickup service.
They have hundreds of vehicles and change them all for new stock every year.
I hope this helps

Lake District NARROW roads

Lakes are wonderful.
But narrow roads so I would recommend a Panel Van Conversion rather than coachbuilt.

Wales similar but not as bad

Not only narrow but they have very unforgiving stone walls! Can be worrying even when you are familiar with the width of your van.

and on that note, a Master or a Sprinter conversion would be thinner than a Boxer/Relay/Ducato one :)

You could also try quirkycampers.co.uk if you fancy something maybe a bit different? Individual vans owned by different people but rented out via a central company (bit like AirBNB for Campervans maybe?)

(I am contemplating renting mine out using them once all done fully)
