Where are you going this weekend?????

Nowhere! Just got home from 800 mile round trip to the midlands and I have never seen the van so dirty (even though it was washed at the 400 mile mark when it had its habitation service) so this weekend is van washing, weather permitting.

Fife for the weekend? 35 years ago would be the other way round for me, used to fly up Monday mornings for the week days in Kirkcaldy, evenings would be snooker or Jackie O's.

Looking after grandson today then tomorrow over to the father-in-law`s to try and sort out his Blue Badge renewal that he seems to have buggered up o_O

Final day in Liverpool.redt the van up for a couple of weeks ,try and organise dialysis in Scotland for a couple of weeks and then I’m off

Used to run wheat up to Hutchinsons mill on the quayside at kirkcaldy 30 years ago. If we stayed there we used a little pub just over the way, called The Lang Toon if memory serves me well. Usually went from there across to Fide Silica Sand at Clackmanon for a backload of white sand for Greggs glass works at knottingley.
Was my regular run for a while, 3 up & 3 down every week....

Always remembered the town still smelt of linoneum even though the works had by then closed.

Next weekend we are off to Peebles, never been there before.
We are heading to the carpark next to the rugby and cricket ground (Cu Peebles 2).
There is a rugby match on the Saturday so wondering if that will cause any problems. If so we will head to Cu Peebles 2. But from the photo I can see a sign at the entrance but cannot read it. Any advice would be welcome.

We'll be in sweden this time next week.In the company of our daughter and grand daughter.!2 years old, boxing in the golden girl Championship.
She won last night up in leeds and got a black eye for her troubles but she is ready for the next one.
We havent pushed her, she's just a determined young girl.

Lots of places to park in Peebles. Personally I would head to the forestry commission carpark at Cardrona five minutes drive from Peebles. The carpark just over the bridge is popular with campervans. Have a run to Innerleithen and come back up the other side of the Rio Tweed Peebles via Traquair and Kalzie.
