I've just been introduced to Deva, comprising Dave & Eva, :welcome: and thought it would be nice to hear how others came up with their names.

So what is the story behind your user name? :cool1:

Yes I do! :yeahthat:

I dance :rockroll: and I really love activities where I have the wind in my face - horse riding, skiing, skydiving, sailing, or just being stood on the top of a mountain. :fun:

Hi FIDGET's the name due to only never wanting to stay any longer than 2/3 nights and always travel back a different way than went. Origin handle was Piglets pilot as I owned a Pilote of which i drove /navigated etc Affectionally named PIGLET.

We had a guy in the pub who had lost his eye and was known as cyclops. When I lost mine I automatically became cyclops2

Good Thread, wind dancer.
Being a lover and singer of sea-shanties and of puns, when I bought my Romahome in 2001, I told my elderly, strait-laced neighbour I was going to call it "Rolling Home" after a song about the journey from Australia to England. She sniffed at my frippery and said, "At least you can shorten it to Rolly."
That has been the name of my van ever since (now on its 3rd pick-up) and it transfered itself to me when looking for a 'handle' for this website.

No prizes for guessing mine although I no longer have either my KangooRoo or Kangoo van now...

See Kimbow's link for mine and there's probably a few other threads here on the same subject too :pc:
