just noticed a star and it says add to users reputatatio n well mine is bad enough without adding to it lol in my post and there is a slogan under my user name what does it do try playing with it but it does nothing in my posts say i on a diststinguished road well just been out side and i havent moved i the night still on the same road as went to bed on

and if you look on mine OH, i'm on the same road, i've just looked out the window but cant see you, must be a long road with bends in it :lol-061: you might be round it :lol-061:
 
must be a long road as everyone i looked at is on it and i cant see them mind you it must be the biggest wild camp meet ever if we all on it some of us are round the bend but it all helps make world a sane place to live

I noticed that on my post this morning and thought I'd done something wrong. I didn't know that everyone had them!! Has anyone worked out what it all means yet?? :confused:
 
Ahaa.... that's where my reputation comment came from...Hippy! But what does it mean?? :):)
 
well did try again and it came up with a comment dont know expexted phill to come in with explanation but he is a busy man so wil play with it til ifugure it out and can t work out the point either got points in control panel as well
 
Where did you find the bit about the distinguished road? Don't think I'm on a road.
 
hover mouse over the green square uner your name just roll mouse ove it yes your are on a dis road mine has chang it now says

i will be famous soon enough

Basically I updated the software yesterday and it looks like it has enabled it (it is set on by default)

It is called the reputation system....

People gain reputation points for how long you have been a member and how many posts you have made.

AND

Members can give you reputation (positive or negative) based on the posts you have made. The amount of reputation points you get is based on the reputation of the person giving it. So a member with a high reputation gives or takes more points than a member with a low reputation. There are also other inbuilt rules like; new members and people with very low reputation votes will not effect he score. Members can only give a certain amount of reputation per day and there are safe guards to prevent little groups boosting each others rep.

Many people do not like the system as it allows negative feedback to be given, however you must explain why you want to give negative feedback. The plus side is that trolls and idiots are easily identified as their reputation reflects this.
I may leave it on and give it a try!
 
Ok updates then. So does that explain why the colours are different or is it that my eyes are really that bad:scared:
 
I'm still not convinced.... I think it was Hippy playing with something that he shouldn't have been!
