What do You call your Motorhome?

Hi, we hopefully pickup our first motorhome Friday this week (Fiat Hymer Swing). Having spent the last 12 months, looking and working out how to afford it.

We can't decide what to call "It" - so the question is what do people call their motorhome?

you have to name it , makes it yours then . we call ours rocky , because she is a american RV rockwood. Pam

We have had a Tramp (low profile Hymer) for the last 3 years and we still or did until last week call it The Van. Well I probably still do, but My wife Kath has decided to call her Snail:D

It or the van :confused: or possibly some names that would get me banned when things are going wrong with it :rolleyes:. Don't see why people give them names or stick personalized plates on them, they are just a piece of machinery.
 
I call ours Pam the van helps remember the reg number p reg and it ends in m no vowels :)

our last vehicle was pfo in the reg so to remember that we said please F o i'll let you decide what the other 2 letters stand for lol

We have a lovely 20 year VW Van- it's a Westfalia California. The tradition in VW circles is certainly towards naming your van. Having seem many (many) called Daisy (or similar) we decided to call ours Imogen, as in "imagine all the lovely places you can go".
We have just returned from a tour of northern Europe taking in France Belgium, Holland and Germany,, towing our matching teardrop trailer behind us!
 
Before we got our van we couldn't decide if it was a Campervan, Motorhome, Campingcar or various other names so we decided we would just have a nice carefree name and decided "Bubbles".
When we bought our van we were asked if we wanted to chose a registration number. The poor salesman must have wondered what he was dealing with since we both laughed hysterically !!
We couldn't get BUB but chose BVB. The first 2 letters are NK so we call it Nicky Bubbles.
 
We call ours Betty.

Named after, who else but my dear old Mum, Betty.

We call our Sundance 'Dougedoug' after one of the main actors in the film 'Coolrunnings' (Peace be the journey):cool:
 
Eddie. After Eddie Izzard my favorite comedian, who also happens to be a 'tranny' like my van.:)
 
our old van was called topsy, after the elephant that thomas edison electrocuted to death for entertainment and the advancement of science....
the new van is called BIG TOPsy, as she is twice the size, but she is fast getting the nickname "Beast"
 
Hello there ... we have a Hymer and we call him Harry when we're in the UK, Henri when in France and Heinrich when in Germany!!! :)
 
Thanks for all the replies - we pick up our MH later today. We still can't decide on a name (if any).

Away for the weekend with Friends, so maybe after a few glasses of wine we will come up with something.
