I follow the gap decaders on you tube ,they've sold one overlander and are in the process of building from scratch a new overlander on an older man chassis great videos and great travel videos when they're on the road
Please watch and subscribe to their channel you won't be disappointed

Cale, is this you given up with the house hunting now? 😁
I’ll know this time tomorrow if I can give up house hunting🤞. Like Mark I enjoy admiring these machines but no urge to own one. The one pictured is owned by a young Swiss couple who sold there MAN and bought this and are travelling Scotland for six months and self schooling there kids.

years ago a big german van pulled on to the beach at Taghazoute. it had a 750 Dakar rally bike on a rear rack, a motorised paraglideron the roof and was towing a chunky looking quad bike on atrailer with a jetski ! i said to Eileen , if he's good looking as well i'll have to ask him to leave. as we wached he climbed out of the cab - George clooney eat your heart out ! had a good laugh about round the fire later .he thought it hilarious .

Good luck with your offer 🤞

I thought it was now illegal to sell a MAN, even a WOMAN……sorry, I’ll get me coat 😂

I saw this in the Aldi car park at Castle Donington a few days ago, not a Unimog but it was interesting

Mercedes L Series or Kurzhauber" (short-bonnet) truck

Probably less than 5mpg ....

Looks cool BUT I wouldn't want the running costs or mechanical complication (as in everything is massively over engineered and thus heavy )
And a lot of these types of trucks will never see the terrain they are capable of operating on ....
Certainly not in the UK ....

And the thought of the cost of schlepping over to Morocco or something ...at the speeds they can usually manage .

Nahh thing I'll stay with what I've got Taa
