Western Isles

Just booked my summer Cal Mac ferries, decided to do a hopscotch (a deal of a few ferries on one ticket) and to go from Oban to Barra, then to Uist, Bernaray, Harris then back to Ullapool................ £361. We were going to go from Uig on Skye, then travel both ways and then back to Skye. I reckon though that the extra £90 for the ticket could easily account for the extra diesel used by going both ways........... just hope we get some decent weather, the fuel alone will be another £350. Its not cheap holidaying in the U.K. but at least on the Western Isles we can WILD every night.
