have a bongo and just like bieng out there, into mountainbiking and kayaking.

Never considered using the campervan in Feb but with two kids boy 10 girl 7 i am going to try it. So pub car parks look the best option. What about kit is is just enough to have down sleeping bags?

Half term is loomingv and I have a yen for Edale.........any tips?

hi and welcome as for kit i would think a good set of sleeping bags will be ok also you could always take the duvets along with you

Hi Terrydactyl and welcome, winter months mean short daylight hours so let the kids bring along their "nintendo ds" etc. to keep them occupied and it may be an idea to invest in a small inverter just to keep them charged up:rolleyes:;).

BTW. Kids love camp fires, so why not find a wild spot not too far from a pub:rolleyes::p

Hi terrydactyl,
welcome to the site and enjoy. Couple of extra fleece blankets incase the temperature gets to sub-zero. It ain't over yet.

Happy Camping:)
