don't mean to be pedantic about grammar.but i don't think you're supposed to use a preposition to end a sentence with.

From Manchester, head to North Wales, then down through the country out at Bristol and home.

We did this in the opposite direction last year. Lovely scenery and on your way south so not that much out of your way.

:yeahthat: :ditto: have to agree with pete here the coast line of wales will match anywhere you can go and it's all heading home

Wye Valley
Brecon, great carparks all OK overnighting just not in festival period
Llandrindod Wells
Chirk??
Llangollen

Depends how far up you want to go and what you like to see

lots of castles to go to,lots of beaches, mountains, valleys of course, rivers to park next to,from cornwall i'd go mumbles-gower,oxwich bay which compares well with a lot of foreign beaches-along to tenby passing through wisemans bridge go up the west coast, loads of stop offs and cross over to brecon.crossing that bridge into wales relaxes me instantly

Now there's a question!! Scenery and seaside, not too fussed about towns except for food; would like to visit Shell Island - any good?? As for how far I want to go.....you should really know better than asking KP this!! The answer is "All the way" of course - what did you expect?? including Anglesey and the top coast of Wales. Hope to have about 4 weeks to do it, if no medical appointments crop up in the meantime. We will be heading in the Brecon direction up the A470, but going off onto B roads where possible.
