Webasto dual top 102

Hi,

The new murvi has a Webasto dualtop 102 fitted & apart from a couple of days getting used to it I know very little other than reading the blurb. I had 10 years with an eberspacher, but the webasto seems to warm the van quicker, & is supposed to use less fuel & electricity.

Any comments welcome.

I have a dual top in my Bedford - great piece of kit very hot in the truck and quiet.
I had at one point thought of running it on Red Diesel but as I got a Petrol generator I decided it wasn't worth having three fuel tanks.

Having just repaired an airtop 2000 that had been run on red diesel I wouldn't advise running your heater on it - they get terrible carbon build up especially on the burner matting, leading to premature failure. Webasto are not too keen to recommend using red diesel due to the variable qualities in use - all to do with the sulphur content apparently.
