Hi,
We Leave tomorow morning for West Scotland & the Highlands from Portsmouth on our first trip in a motorhome, we pick up our rented 2008 Swift Kontiki 645 Vogue 24 foot motorhome in Andover at 12 midday,

I have my route planed out with camp sites and some wild camping as well. Apart from a couple things i could do with a little advice on. (see below)

So just a couple of questions that some might be able to advice me on:.

1, Leaving Andover would it be better to join the A34 then M40 or join the M5 from Gloucester on a Saturday around midday,

2, we plan to visit Applecross, I was planing to get there by the coast road and leave by the pass, Any thoughts on this?

Anyone else up going to be up there?

Even though i have not joined as a full paid up member, we will share any wild sites we stop at when i get home.
