We are now in Spain after taking 3 weeks to get there. We are at Tavernes de la Valldigna with 2 Brits, 3 Germans and 2 Dutch. Weather is great and so is the water. Crossing France was also very hot. The 3 weeks was over 25 to 30 degrees, one day of rain only. Hope all you guys have a great time over Summer. Will be back in early Sepyember.

25 to 30C VERY HOT ????

just thinking about getting out my shorts !

surely you mean pleasantly warm

Enjoy your summer - I know you've been looking forward to it for a very long time. I have to say that Spain is a bit too hot for us in the summer - we try to arrange things so we experience more or less permanent spring, so we're enjoying the English weather at the moment (apart from the wind!). May pass you on the road!

hi alnval. no we did valencia to algeciras.across to maroc then on return went up to tavernas. down to see keninspain..then around to the right of madrid, via albecete cuenca, sacedon, then up and across to aranda de duero by little small roads by the side of lakes etc.on to palencia then small roads down through the pecos de europa to ribadisella . very narrow but exciting . tight bends and lots of overhangs. . think we will do just spain nportugal very slowly again this winter. save a shilling and nmaybe south america winter after. maroc wasnt so good may not go back .its too like europe now . and not cheap anymore . but then neither are spain and portugal. just have to loasd up here and not buy much over there .
job to know where tyo go next . it seems algeria could be getting ready to open borders .so i hear. there is also alot getting ready to return to india seems the route through iran pakistan is open even afganistan .been told if you stay away from the britih army bases its all clear .nobody had any trouble every body friendly so it may get on the cards . good to hear from you . missed afew this winter but saw different people hadnt seen for awhile . just waiting for it to warm up here still in sweatshirts and body warmer. cu,sn alan.
ps wearing more clothes now than at anytime in the winter. darent even think about shorts .
