Way to go, beats towing a car!

Impressive flying skills. Dread to think what would of happened if the MH had to slam the brakes on.

FWIW, I once started learning to fly microlights. AFAICT, my then instructor still holds the (unofficial?) record for the World's smallest aircraft carrier!

I was trying to find a vid of a Cri Cri landing, but could only get one of it taking off, forgot about that one.

I thought that the Mitsubish team only used the Shogun to launch the Cri Cri: I too have seen loads of videos of Cri Cri launches but I can't remember seeing one of a landing. Here's a piccy found on the 'net. The cradle on the car roof doesn't look suitable for landings to me (but YMMV!)

It's possible I've misremembered and it was your mates landing, but I think the Cri Cri also landed on a SUV at one time, but as you say, the Mitsu team launching frame doesn't look up to a landing.

No problem. Pilot applies full power and gets airborne again. Then finds a runway to land on - preferably with no vehicle obstructing the touch-down area.:)
