i'm a newbie too

7 days of motorhoming and I realise MH some owners wave. We have a bmw mini and waving was rife when they first came out but has died a death, this has obviously been the done thing for a long time with MH's.

I've noticed theres a MASSIVE range in MH types, maybe waving embraces all of these in a way motorcyclists and psv drivers does not (sport bikes and choppers dont wave to each other and coach drivers dont wave to bus drivers).

Viva la motorhome, wish I'd have discovered this life 20 years ago instead of dull old caravanning!

As a retired bus driver can say that coach drivers do wave at bus drivers and vice versa. (most coach drivers were once bus drivers!!)
Also I have found that most often than not, Auto Sleeper owners tend to wave at each other more than most, But saying that do get lots of waves from all sorts:rockroll:

We have a Kontiki and wave to everyone!

Sorry but I must have a very odd sense of humour. didn't get that at all.

I have a humble Bongo and wave to Bongos and most of them wave back.

Some coach/bus drivers stick their fingers up at me. but I think that could be something to do with my bumper sticker.
"NO SIGNALS - EX BUS DRIVER":D:)
