water gauge

can any one advise . when water temperture gauge reaches temp it starts to flicker realy fast engine is a peugot 1.9 t diesel 43000miles on clock
 
more than likely a fault on the gauge ,as long as the indicator stays in the normal sector then it will be more than likely just be an annoyance
 
thanks mate . ive just got van .it started on way back from east coast on sunday . water temp stays the same. and i checked ive not lost any water. ive notified discover about it as theres a warranty on van. as i have also found a few more faults that need putting right they might as well get that sorted as well
 
hope you get it all sorted it is realy annoying when you shell out good money on something and you find little things that annoy you
