We have a screw in water filter by the water inlet. Someone has said they can freeze and crack. If this is the case, do I have to keep putting it in and taking it out, or can you use the system without it in ?

We have an Autocruise with the same filter and left it in through last winter without problems. The filter will drain down the fill pipe and doesn't hold water for any length of time.

I always remove mine (nature pure purifier), dry it out and put it back if it's going to get cold. Freezing it could crack the housing or destroy the filter matrix and let gunge through.

water filter

Hi,We have a water filter that sits behind the driver seat ,if we do not use m/home over winter we take it out or if we use m/home in winter we cover it with towel and have heater on this prevents freezing ,or you can have hook up to your garage and keep heater on to keep m/home warm, hope this helps you ,dave.
