Water Filling Query?

Hi, can anyone throw some light on filling the water tanks using the Whale connection point fitted to my MH? Specifically, is there an over flow pipe or cut out when the tank is full or are you supposed to keep rushing in & out of the van to look at an inaccurate water level gauge?

Thanks in advance for any info.

Nt got a whale fill my self but I have never used my outside filler valve as it is to slow, I just lift my bench seat and 10 mins later 130 ltrs is full.
You will have a over fill pipe but don't rely on it always watch when you fill the van with water:D

I have a similar setup on my autocruise, either use a submersible pump or hose adapter,
in either case the tank is filled until it overflows (overflow pipe is run under the van) and this is the method recommended in the manual ;)

Thanks for the replies guys.
Just been away for 3 nights over the Bank Holiday weekend and I purchased a Whale Aquasource mains water connection kit that attaches to th Whale point on the van & to a tap via a 7.5 metre hose.

I filled the tank whilst I was away and left it filling way past the gauge reading full and it kept on filling until eventually it stopped so I assume it has a cut off valve built in that stops when full.

Also was having trouble getting the toilet to flush until we realised that the flush tank didn't start filling untill the filler pipe was full, ( i.e. a full filler pipe didn't mean that there was anything in the flush tank) :(

Still, we live & learn !
