Warranties and habitation checks

Our 'van is 4 years old, and we have had it for a year so all the normal renewals are due.

When we bought the van it came with a dealers 3 year warranty and the conditions are that we have both habitation check and vehicle service.

I am wondering how vital the habitation check is and is it worth the cost/warranty? The warranty is standard, ie if it breaks down, not wear and tear, not windows and paintwork etc.

if the warranty is only for the donor vehicle and not the coachwork then i can't see what having a habitation check will do! needs close inspection of the attached paperwork!

same old thing realy .do you pay for expensive services and checks to keep your warranty for if you have a problem and then in the event of a claim the dealer comes back with wear and tear after 4 years motoring, no cover then more big bills
