Nearly three months ago at the beginning of JUNE we ordered a shower from Camp Europe Ltd otherwise known as Caravan-parts.store.buegle.com.

Despite several unanswered emails to them because of no goods ,we suddenly receive an email on the 4th July saying the parts are coming from Denmark !
They must be still coming as we have heard no more !!!:mad1:
Rather than throw more money at them trying to recover either the cash or goods we gave up as a bad job and our loss.

From what I have read, we are not the only people to have been caught out.
Please Google Camp Europe LTD for more comments

Be warned you are likely to loose your money.

If you paid by card or paypal then you can get your money back.

I almost got caught out by this company too.

I needed a replacement external Hab door handle for my Burstner. They are not cheap and are difficult to find. I was not prepared to pay up front in case it took months for one to arrive. I was unable to speak to anyone, there was just a recorded message and my email was ignored. In the end I purchased one elsewhere.

It sounds like they are no longer trading but I have seen comments on forums about poor service.

Gee whizz, all the warning flags were there and you still went ahead and happily parted with your money.

The parent company Camp Europe Ltd still seems active see companies house link

CAMP EUROPE LIMITED - Filing history (free information from Companies House)

I would speak with trading standards. they will advise but there seems two courses of action.

1) file for recovery of your money using the small claims court (sole directors address is disclosed on the link)
2) Via trading standards, distance selling regulations breaches they take seriously and if others are affected they will act on your behalf you might add to a current case.

The monetary amount doesn't matter perhaps but I detest rogue traders , additional help can be CAB and your own solicitor but best recourse by a country miles is trading standards

I had problems with them a few years back when trying to buy some 4,000kg ALKO black shock absorbers.

When she did finally respond her excuse was her husband had been ill or something but that changed in subsequent emails.

I purchased elsewhere without any problems.

Stupidity

I know I should have not ordered from them, but they were the only people who sold the particular piece we wanted at the time.

Of course, everyone is wise after the event but who does a google search/review before ordering something.

Yep, we got our fingers burnt but we were just trying to advise others not to go down the same path.

PS, We did, after a lot of searching find the part we wanted else where.
It seems judging from comments that they list the hard to find items to suck people in.

Once bitten etc................

i guess many of us have been conned at some stage in our lives.... i know i have... thanks for alerting us

You should at least have done basic checks so you are wise before the event. Caveat emptor always. I order lots of stuff online but will always research if it is a new to me seller. No telephone number and payment demand other than by Visa protected credit/debit card or Paypal is a big no no. (having 38 years Police service and having seen a lot also helps lol) Bob
