WARNING. Blanes Car Park!

After spending several lovely days in Blanes with many other campers on the car park, we were broken into today at 13.30.
The Strikeback with Metatrak may have helped save the day, but it didn’t stop some little urchin gain access through the smallest window over the sink and ransack the van.
On the way out they must have kicked the tap so when we got back 10mins after the Metatrak alert, the van was flooded!!
Another fun day motorhoming!!!
Take care at Blanes, but it really is not really safe to ever leave the van unattended is it?

Bummer. Any damage to the window? I've been seriously considering installing a couple of bars to reduce the size of the window openings. They wouldn't necessarily stop the buggers getting in but may deter them even attempting to?

Window chipped in the corner where they used a drill bit to open it, otherwise apart from the 2 turnbuckles-no.

The standard answer is usually https://eeco-ltd.co.uk/ but you need to send the existing window to them. Also, if they don't have a mould for that window, they will charge for the cost of producing the mould, which is prohibitive. Worth ensuring that they have the necessary mould at the outset; when I sent them a window a few years ago, having told them exactly what it was and where it was fitted,, they suddenly discovered that they only had the mould for a slightly different one and wanted me to agree to pay for the mould before they would proceed.
