Warning! anyone heading to south of France.

Don't know if it has been on the British news channels but there is a red alert for the Languedoc-Roussillon region of France. We have just been watching the devastation caused by high winds and heavy rainfall. With more rain forcast over the weekend we felt like we should warn anyone planning or already on route to this region. We are in Burgundy and have only had moderate rainfall. We are planning a trip south but will wait until weather improves.

forecast is that by saturday morning it should have blown itself out and the weather will turn to wet and miserable for a few days , mild temperatures
in fact , as I write at 10pm friday the wind and rain have already stopped , my satellite TV is working again , and my internet connection is back [ as you can see ]
