Wanted: Cheap off-road storage in West Sussex/near Gatwick Airport??

Hi, fellow campers!

I am looking for some cheap or free motorhome storage within a reasonable radius of Gatwick Airport for 2 months from 19th July 2013. I have a short contract abroad, returning 15th September. My vehicle is a 21 foot-long Fiat Ducato conversion.

I am happy to compensate a Wildcamping member for the inconvenience of having my motorhome sitting on their property, and it will of course be insured, but I don't like the £500+ per year some storage depots are asking, especially as most of them want the money in advance for the 12 months!! (Nice business if they can get it.....)

Is there a CL close by? Loads of farmers are quite happy to store for a few quid. Gatwick does have farmers nearby

No idea what a CL is. I would very much like to make contact with a farmer in the gatwick area to agree some cheap storage, but I can't really just drive around on the offchance of finding a friendly one..... and I don't appreciate shotgun pellets....:(:(:(
