Wanted Camper/Motorhome £1000 Waiting

Hi All,
I have £1000 cash for a camper/motorhome with MOT

Im in Merseyside but will travel needed in two weeks for tour of scotland
I dont mind if it needs cosmetic work as long as it is useable

Interesting. I think two of the berths are on the reclining leather seats. Less than a months MOT though. Could be some bills coming but at 1992 it's not that old for a MH. I'd be suprised if 82,000 was genuine if it was self build. It probably had a previous life with a reasonable mileage.

By the way, £1000 is dirt cheap, close to scrap value for many vans considering all the valuable caravan parts. So expect some heavy cost repairs and replacements unless you really strike lucky.

As some-one replied on SBMCC, your best bet is Ebay
 
It can be done, I once bought one for £500 with no MOT, cost £40 to get it through, never let me down.
Your best bet is one of the following
Bedford CF
Talbot Express /Fiat Ducato
Google Bedford CF and look at the owners club, it has two for sale sections one at the start and one in the forum.
You will be lucky but it can be done.
If you are handy buy a Van and go to Kellets Caravan breakers in ST.Helens and he will sell you all the bits to convert it very cheaply
 
Just read the star craft for sale post (Retro camper) I would buy that as its worth the money and at that price you could use it for two years then sell it and get your money back or possibly a profit so free camping.
