I have an old 1996 high top camper.
18 months ago I had a lot of water coming into the footwell trapped under the carpet. It was suggested that it was from the windscreen. I had a new one fitted.
It has now happened again.
Is there anywhere else it could be coming from? And how do I find it, I am reluctant at this moment to rip all the carpet out, the rubber matting underneath is badly marked.

It could be a drain on the panel under the windscreen or heater inlet choked with leaves and crap allowing it to fill up and enter the cab. Had it with a Crafter.

This is exactly what happened to my old Citroen when I first got it and totally surprised me!

Badly designed “run off” from below the windscreen was clogged up with leaves (previous owner/sellers had it parked under trees). This caused build up of rainwater in some (daft!) drain off “well” - or could have been the heater inlet? - which subsequently sloshed about when driving and caused the footwell to flood.

Easily fixed by keeping it cleaned out 👍
