Lights not lighting

Does anyone know what else apart from the fuse to the lights that could stop them from working?

Need more details to diagnose problem.

Are other 12v sockets/items working?

Is there power to the lights?

Lighting problems are often due to bad earthing among other things.

Its an old ambulance and the ceiling lights throughout the van stoped working at the same time ( 2 fluents tubes and cab ceiling light)
Havent checked earth yet or no where to find it for that matter everything is hidden under carpet etc.
Thanks

the fuse box's on vw lt is prone to water leaking on to it .i have owned three over the years and had to rewire all of there fuse box's .were there was no power i bypassed fuse .have you run a test on the lights to see if there are no cable problems .and put in a seconded earth cable. good luck

You are correct, it's quite likley the fuse box .
They can look fine from above but underneath be very corroded.
Find someone who knows how to do a few simple tests and by-passes if your not sure yourself.
If it's been an ambulance it probably had extra equipment fitted and when this was removed the wires may not have been insulated, it could caused a problem.

Good Luck
