i have a VW and cant see what the fuss is about, all the vw nerds, dubbers etc. to me its just another box with wheels

Try telling that to a VW enthusiast! It's like the Apple Mac fans; it's a cult and religion.

And in a sense with good reason as you can see people are prepared to pay 2 to 3 times the price for a VW camper or a Mac.

But Jules, I don't think your van counts as cult icon. It has headroom for a start. One of the delights of the old Vdubs is that you don't have any headroom and half the load-space is consumed by an engine compartment sticking up out of the floor :lol-053:

lol true. i had a old perfect T3, to me that was just a van, ok i a bit of personality. but still just a van. im not into the big idea of veeedubs, same with the beetle/kaefer. noisy, slow, awkward cars.

Bike Motorhome and Caravan

How's about these two, then...

The Bike Camper is a sculptural piece by artist Kevin Cyr - probably highly impractical, but it inspired the Bike Caravan, which you can buy for (wait for it!!!)... £5,500!

We used to own a Vespa Rally 200 / Watsonian Bambini outfit.
I would love to have one like this.
