Anyone travelling to Portugal, concerned aboutdata use while away...Vodafone Portugal do a SIM card for data only ( Vodafone go total) costs €14.99 for first fifteen days then can be topped up online for €1 day in €5 increments. Max 90 days. Unlimited data and easy to set up and top up. Bought it in local vodaphone shop. Think you can get a €30 one to start but my shop only had the fifteen day ones in stock.

Also found this one for smaller users €9.99 for one month free month when top up €10 so €19.99 for three months but only 10gb data. Signal not good here to use Meo but good in many areas.

NOS also do a Sim card, €30 a month, which can be topped up at thier shops, online, mobile phone shops and the Post Office. Very good coverage and fast enough to be able to watch at least two different TV channels at once.
But we have found that if you topup before using all your days the top up starts at once and runs for the new days you have bought.

Hi Glass Man, Is this NOS sim used in a mifi device?
If yes - what mifi do you have?

Yes, a MiFi I bought in Portugal but I don't recommend that as it will only work with a NOS Sim.
You should be able to buy an ' unlocked ' MiFi in UK, possibly Carphone Warehouse? Which will work with any Sim, do check this.
