Vodafone problems Spain

Full signal Portugal, nowt in Spain. Anyone else having problems?

I'm using Vodaphone, I'm in Toledo at the moment, it's been patchy all the way down through France and into Spain.

Looks like Vodafone are blaming UK SIM cards. 100 gb in England, 12gb roaming? Best of luck with that many.

Vodafone uses it's own continental partners afaik. Vodafone ES Spain, Vodafone P Portugal, and so on.
I've 3 on the iphone through Smarty. An error on my part before I left the UK, is why I cannot access data from my phone.
It's been difficult, but now I sort of understand the problem, I'm not going to let it spoil my holiday.

I was surprised how much data the TV actually uses per hour. Its not surprising you need a reasonable connection. A limit of 12gb is not going to give you much tv.

Best uk phone for continent I've found is o2 PAYG. if you have a contract you get limited, you can get 100gb month for 30 quid, I have 15gb for 15 pounds. Take a couple of PAYG sims and cancel them at the end of your trip if you dont need them anymore. I've never had a problem with o2

Data use for us has been roughly 1.5Gb per hour.
We have bought a bundle from Tesco Mobile for each month we are planning to be out here.

What I had in France is a list similar to this 3 auto selected their preferred one but I could manually select from the list to find a better signal

• SFR.
• Bouygues Télécom.
• Free Mobile.
• La Poste Mobile.
• Lebara Mobile.
• Lycamobile.
• Réglo Mobile.
