Vodafone Cover in Turkey

We took out a 60gb data and phone contract with Vodafone for James' phone as it covered Turkey. Turkey is one of their 48 roaming destinations. About 2 weeks ago they emailed that they were cancelling the free roaming in Turkey as of May. Straight onto the phone to them ... to plead that we don't know how long we will be stuck here in Turkey and they were potentially removing our communications life line. After the operative reassured me me a dozen times that Vodafone 'had my back', she checked with a supervisor and we would not be charged the additional £6 per day passport to use the phone, whilst here. Result.

Since then, we've been messaged that as we are obviously stuck in Turkey, they are giving us unlimited data until 30.04 and delaying removing Turkey from our free roaming until 07.07. Double Result. Got us a loyal customers now.

Thanks for that thread. I took out a Vodaphone data contract in February ready for trips to Italy...they’ve just agreed to put it on hold.
