I think I've found a good data package from Vodafone for spending the summer exploring in France and Spain.

After listening to endless complaints from one teenager and one almost a teenager, when they can't access wifi in the motorhome, I have finally found a solution, I hope!

I have bought a data package from Vodafone today which gives 50GB of data per month, for £30 per month on a rolling 30 day contract. I had to buy a mifi router for £15 (usually £35 but they price matched Currys/PC World as a loyalty bonus) but it allows 10 devices to connect. The package allows the full 50 GB per month in Europe, unlike a lot of plans that cap usage when abroad.

There were cheaper plans available for less data, but it seems to be a good deal, so I thought I would share it.

Sounds very good value, especially for a proper data package, not something you have to use your phone with exclusively.

50GB a month with two teenagers though? what will they do after Day 3?

I know what you mean. They will probably treat 50GB as a target, instead of a limit!

Good information . I'm having a dispute with 3 at present bought the mifi paying £20 a month (rolling contract) for 15gb a month . Now being told I'm limited to 13 GB in total whilst abroad .
Apparently I've also incurred £42 extra charges .
I'm sure it will be fixed but looks like I'll be moving to Vodafone

I get 200Gb per month from EE for £60. This is actually a home wifi package but they are happy for people to use it in their motorhomes. You can get this on a 30-day contract but you will have to negotiate not paying £99 for the router (it is free on an 18-month contract). They also provide 100Gb for £45.
