Just to say thankyou to all the folks that gave suggestions for our trip to NI, Donegal and Sligo.
We had a stupendous time and the suggestions helped loads as did the overnight stops on the app...
Places too many to mention but Antrim coast was great (despite saying we didn't particularly want to do coast!) and lots of ancient stuff especially in Sligo and, of course, the views, the many interesting people and especially the weather!
One place that no one mentioned which we loved was Patterson's Spade Mill in Antrim. NT but reasonably priced and fascinating for anyone with an interest in water power or gardening.,Still working and you get to see a spade being forged and worked.
You can also overnight there for a fiver...
