Hi DEZI ,I was indeed a VINDI boy in 1959, happy days, for those who don't know what a VINDIBOY is/ was , VINDICATRIX was a training establishment for the Merchant Navy it was at Sharpness in Gloustershire and the VINDI was a boat on the Sharpness canal where we spent the last week of our training living aboard as I said happy days.

I went back to Sharpness recently to have a look round, there is a social club on the site of the huts we stayed in, they have reunions there and have lots of memorabellia too, if you Google Vindicatrix you can find lots of local to you associations for Vindi.
