Always makes me smile when I renew The Nests Road Tax for the Year,
I really do think I get ‘Value For Money’ !

Let’s face it, I think that when you look at what is paid, it’s actually Not THAT bad considering the Use,

YESSS I know the Roads are in places TERRIBLE, & I’ve seen some quite frankly BLINKING DANGEROUS Pot Holes, & Yes I dare say the list could grow with moans if I was to think about it long enough.
But I do only pay some 45p a Day to use my Home on The Roads...& my Kettle is Boiling !.
Sooo, What was I talking about ?

Paid £150 to up-plate mine to 4500kg from 3500kg, on takes two years cheaper RFL and the up-plate was in effect free.

Compare the UK road tax to that of the toll costs of a trip to south of Spain and back for one trip and it looks rather good to me. same with cars and even motorbikes.

i do have a few little tickles of late with the lottery
