Due to the sale of our motorhome, we have the following for sale :

Car/motorcycle Battery Charger £10.00
Halfords heavy duty 'Jump Leads' - never been used £20.00
Small 12 volt compressor as new £10.00
Tow Rope £5.00
Electric lead, including 240 volt adaptor £15.00

All of these prices are plus postage, and everything is in excellent order.

We are based in Redditch, in Worcestershire

So sorry compressor gone - couldnt believe how quickly we have sold things.

Do NOT speak to me in this manner - for your information these items were also put in our local paper last week Redditch Standard -- sorry you have missed out, and I can assure you they were exceptional bargains, I am sure someone else will want them - I am not dependant on you for a few bob !!!

As it happens I am a golfer, play off a single figure handicap, and have been a member of a prestigious golf club for many years - you appear not to understand the English language, or write it - if you are the sort of person that uses this site I am surprised that there are any members.

my underlanding of our languaage is perfik... i have a degree in it... and takin pith too:p

since my arrival here membership has gon from 3 to 8 thousand... all my doing of course....:rolleyes:

Not taking sides John but it is normal practice to tell people you are also advertising your ****e somewhere else as well as on a site, it would also have been nice if you had checked back on the site for replys before selling it elsewhere (45 mins :rolleyes::rolleyes:)

AJ can be an arse but he posted up 45 mins after you originally posted as did other people :(
 
unfortunately, I didn't know there were any rules that said I had to say where else I had advertised. The problem I had was someone was at my door, with the cash - should I have said no, just incase someone on this forum said they wanted it afterwards ? My wife and I are pretty upset about the way we have been spoken to, I only joined this site today and feel that I have been absolutely bombarded with nastyness

That person was me AJ,ive got to admit i worked hard on that one,as soon as the items went up for sale on here i was straight round there,got to agree the items were fantastic quality and as you said i got a hell of a bargain.
Any more items like those John just give me a quick heads up before posting on here.

You have asked for everything you have had… keep it up and you will get shed loads more.

All you needed to do was apologise… and recognise your mistake…

What is the point of advertising stuff that people have already bought and the buyer is at the front door ****…. Common sense eluded you or what..

selling something on the web to let other people know that you are also selling it elsewhere then if you say its already gone no-one will be upset or annoyed.

I have so say its surprising that someone was on your door in the 45 minutes between posting and AJ's reply. I do not mean that you were lying but it sounds to me like you were hedging your bets by posting even though you had a possible sale elsewhere or in the paper. So who is treating who badly, Maybe you should have joined the site before you wanted to offload your stuff.....

Anyway like I said I aint getting into this argument, BTW do you have a Generator for sale??? I could do with a BIG LOUD geny.....
