This afternoon I started a new thread posting some pics and info on our recent jolly. Title; A different view of France. It seems to have vanished. Can't think of any reason for it being removed. Perhaps it offended somebody cant think why!:confused: greatful for any ideas as to where it could have gone.
 
Some glitches at the moment Nolly, they were some good photos. I'm sure it will turn up again.
 
If they are `a different view of France` maybe they are filed under `Belgium`.:p

The thread disappeared because you deleted it, I just checked the log files and it was your i.p. address so it was not a glitch.

I have undeleted it for you.
 
Just back from superb 8 days wild camping in Nth Wales and am trying to start a new post to update on my travels and stops etc, but can't find the 'new thread' button on my view of the screen, also appear to have lost my 'private message' ability.

I'm not a frequent user on this site, as most of my time spent in France, so this may appear a silly question to many, but where is this capability found. Spent half an hour looking for it, but given up. It's probably right under my nose, just can't see it right now.:confused:

New threads, go to forums, then top left of screen, New Threads, simples.;) If private messages can't be seen top right of screen under your name, get in touch with Admin.

A few problems at the moment, a few changes taking place by Admin.

There is no restriction on any usergroup posting threads. I have just checked all the settings and they appear fine.

I finally found it. However during my search for this I have been locked out with the following message:

I haven't visited the wild camping site section or the pub stopovers; and if I did by pure accident in my search for the 'new thread' button, I certainly didn't open 10 existing threads. I'm sure admin can confirm this by the user history file. I was reading in the 'new post' section. Is this a restricted area? Which area are not restricted by 10 hits? Incredibly frustrating as all I was trying to do was share my travel experience and overnight stopovers etc. I will try again in a weeks time or whenever the block is lifted. But thanks for your help, I did eventually find the button I was looking for.

Thanks for that.:eek: Now I know i'm cracking up, either that or to much vin rouge while on the river. lets hope its the latter.:D

The restricted viewing system only activates in the restricted forums, viewing other forums does not add to the count. And once restricted it is only in the restrict forums.

I spent hours yesterday re-writing the system and testing it extensively.
