Van Security

Hi Everyone, so we have a Mercedes Sprinter 313 van conversion currently with steering wheel lock and steel pedal lock but want to put on extra security such as alarm, slam locks immobilisers, and trackers but not sure which ones and what brands to go for as there are so many options and opinions - any suggestions or and/or companies in the south west that provide a reliable up to date service that is one step ahead of the thieves... thanks in advance.

We had a diesel cut off switch installed. Switch is near driver, but obviously not easy to find! Means it can't be driven anywhere. Think it was about £125 to have fitted.

When sprinters are stolen they do it by removing the ignition barrel and replacing with their own which as been reprogrammed, or take yours out go to a nearby car with it and program their own key to the barrel,
So one of the best devices to stop a sprinter going missing is a ignition barrel guard

Thank you both the cut off switch sounds nice and simple and as it happens I have bought an ignition guard, must get round to fitting it!

Yes but we're technical numpties so have to pay to have a screw changed!!!
