It's coming up for renewal so a call will be necessary to clarify, I know some changes have been made recently with their cover.

If you have comprehensive cover for the UK that cover is usually extended to the EU countries.

Check your policy document to confirm and for what duration the cover is in effect.

You're right to say this as B***** has given the companies a free reign over policies.
Some don't cover europe at all.
others reduce to 3rd party and only 30 days cover...I have just done mine and the small print needs to be scrutinised .
I needed 270 days in one trip and the choice was limited for me.
