Van Improvements

We are off to Spain in a couple of days part business and part holiday. I hope to sell my Spanish house and if I do guess where some of the money is going?
Do I trade in for a newer van or do I just add bits to this 11 year old one that I love so much?
I think maybe better the evil you know is the answer so what do I do?
Firstly get the dents and scratches knocked out and a bit of a paint job. Then a bigger solar panel, 45watts just isn't enough. Then refillable gas tanks if and when the problems being discussed on the forum are resolved. A new alarm system because the current one is quite erratic, (a bit like the wife). Must be replaced! The alarm NOT the wife. I'd never find another one able to cook like this one.
The only real advantage I can see in a newer one is the possibility of a smoother less noisy ride. (I mean the van!) Any Ideas on this front?
What would you all do in similar circumstances?
Anybody want a Spanish house if the current buyers back out?

If they do back out you should be ok there as been more looking around the last 2 weeks were i live mainly Dutch . good luck to you

I would keep the old one. Motorhomes have low depreciation so there's not such a financial need to replace after a set time like cars. They also have long lived engines.

Only buy newer if you have a specific need. Eg Street cred/impressing next door or meeting LEZ targets or insurance considerations or something like that.
