Hi Folks,
We've been away for the weekend and have a couple of photos that I'd like to share, but don't know how !! Can anyone assist please

Best bet is to use a photo hosting account, i use

www.photobucket.com

once you have created your album and uploaded your photos then just copy and past the generated link to wherever you want.

Thanks Mike, but perhaps I should join the 'Numpty Club' I have opened an account with photobucket, and uploaded a photo..reduced it small enough to use as my avatar on this site. but alas!! I can't see what to do next

Hi Jackie,
you should go into your User CP (control panel) top of page. Then you can take option 2, and browse your computer for your avatar photo, and upload.

I tried to do that, but it said my photo files were too big, and I don't know how to manually make them smaller...definitely in the Numpty Club in this area

Never mastered it myself- my avitar pic is my Facebook pic, still haven't sussed hwo it got picked up for here.....

Under your picture in Photobucket you'll see:
'IMG code': make that 'blue' and paste it under 'insert Image' overhere; and there it is (sometimes ) That's the way I do it (and the result is that the pictures are a little bit too small, - I know I'm a dumpy -
Thumbs should be avatar size (for everyboby, not for me - Yes I know I'm a....)
(It seems 'Numpty Club' is fast expanding )

Thanks Belgian, but once again it didn't work for me. I did ex actly as you said, but I just keep getting a message saying 'Invalid File'.
