Under threat....

New experience!
Sitting in my van in a largeish layby trying to work when four vans thunder down to, literally, surround me. Three pulled in behind, one across my bonnet and a voice called out "Are you still hoping to stay here?". I pointed out that work needed my laptop and my laptop needed a signal, so I was staying.
The group manouvered closer and I was told, "We ALWAYS, travel together and we ALWAYS park together and you're in our way".
Made a nice evening as they shouted, sang and generally created sounds encouraging me to move on. Didn't work, my wife is deaf, my dog would sleep through the end of the world amd my laptop has noise cancelling headphones.
Unusual experience though.....

White vans? Camper vans? Still not good but who?

Sorry to hear that.. some people are really inconsiderate...you were there first.
Was this in Scotland? and where were the vans from?

Always the small % that spoil it for everyone.

Hence why so many people don't like publishing their favorite wilding places to all and sundry.

yep....that bunch of muppets....just look at the video footage!

You's just jealous boyo;)

On South Uist and, according to window stickers they were a: Manchester based b: Camping & Caravan Club members c: "Up for it"

I would of moved on as my hubby is a. from sunderland, b. caravan club member, c. is a 18 stone rugby player, d. "very handy"

All joking a side who do these people think they are? Bloody rude for one! It is always the few that give everyone else a bad name.

Can I ask what ages were they? and what type of MH's in case we ever run into them.

However how could you of "moved on" you were blocked in? Thick as well as bloody rude!

seems strange to get four familys travelling to that part of the country hundreds of miles from home and all having that kind of mentalety:confused: frightening really:eek:

I would estimate late 40's, early 50's...driving three older vans, probably 1980's and a new Burstner

....just like the school playgroung bully, tough in a group but **** all but hot air on their own,im never one to be intimidated, but its always a good idea to either move on or wait until they are asleep and then get your own back like cut their brake lines or something...tossers

Toooo heavy man, a bit of dirty grease on the door handles is all that's required to get that smug glow of revenge and no ones been hurt.;)

if they get too aggresive a quick blast of hair spray in the mush works a treat, gives plenty of time to make a quick retreat even air freshener works a treat and makes them smell good too

one that i have used before is ,wait untill the motor is unattended and losen the sump plug a turn or two and the enevetable will happen in time

Still waaayyyy tooooo heavy, a wee bit of grease will not hurt but it will make them ponder their own wrongs hopefully.

They might even be able to have a chuckle about it if and when they grow up.
