Unable to post photos

Hi,
I've tried several ways to post photos but seem to fail every time.
Could anyone give me some advice on this.

I 've tried from my laptop, my main pc and my work pc and it just fails.

Open an account on Photobucket.com.(It is free) Upload your photo's onto your account. Then from Photobucket Click the box on the left side under your photo, then click the bottom, click on IMG code, the box to the right, then click on Edit, top left side of your screen, this will open up, then click copy. Go to Wildcamping on Reply to thread, click your cursor on the blank page, then click on Edit, then click Paste. your photo should appear. Hope this helps

Are the photos very large?

Gosh David and ann so many clicks lol.
Thanks for that. I've tried piccasa but that wont work.
I'll try photo bucket.
 
when you reply to post you wil see b i u in a box that is no 1 count 4 boxes across the one with 5 symbols in hover mouse over symbols 4th one is insert image left click
pop up box opens with two tabs one from computer one from url left click from computer then left click select file find where the files are on your pc when found select and then press open repeat as needed up to five pictures then press upload and they wil appear in post if stuck just reply here and we step through it one at a time then press reply as normal you should see files in your post

8 Mega pixels is quite a big size. You only need 640x480 for forums. I think that is 0.3 MP or more than 25x smaller. I'd reduce them using photoshop or similar or if you use imageshack.us it will reduce them for you when you upload

That's correct Vernon but I've had a few Whiskeys so perhaps it's best I retire for the evening before I make a bigger fool of myself.

This is my first attempt at loading pictures directly from my computer (without using photobucket).

It comes to almost the same thing :) Whether it is 8 mega pixels or 8MB you need to post on the web forums as 640x480 or similar (50 to 150kB) with compression. You'd only need 8MP if you were doing something like magazine work or enlarging for a wall poster.

(The image of the Manx truck is about right 660x464 and only 42kB )
