UK holiday

I am leaving France to the UK this Sunday, taking the Eurotunnel.
Then off to Warwickshire/ Shropshire
Tuesday to Devon,
Saturday to Bristol/Somerset.

Any suggestions where to stay?
France near the Eurotunnel,
Warwickshire/Shropshire near Bewdley - Stourport area
Devon Shaldon area
Bristol/ Somerset area near Pill/Easton in Gordano

Hi Kris,
Having never used the tunnel can't give you any info on anywhere in the immediate area. Perhaps one of our more seasoned members can help. If you're stuck and looking for somewhere safe there's nothing stopping you overnighting in the ferry port of Calais. Whatever you do try and steer clear of Autoroute aires especially around Calais.
We always try and spend time at Oye-Plage, just a few kms east of Calais. Its not an authorized aire but its a nice spot by the beach and popular with motorhomes.:)
As for the UK, well you know that you must be a site supporter to get wild camping info from this site, Canalsman has put together a very interesting and comprehensive list of wild sites donated by members that you can download onto a GPS. But if it's campsites that you're after and it a good idea to have a couple handy, if only for the vidange. (Unlike here in France these facilities dont seem available unless you're in the know). Last year I made inquiries and found that the camping & caravan club gave a discounted membership fee for short term overseas visitors. It's not covered on their website but a phone call verified it.
Know it's not much but I hope that it's of some help. Be interested to know how you get on as we hope to be visiting Wales and Shropshire in June & July.
