I could never afford one of these as a kid but times have changed and I am now the proud owner of this mk3 chopper bought on my local FB selling site, as a kid my mate had one and I got to run behind him everywhere we went, he even let me hang my jacket on the backrest.

Mmmmmm.....haven't seen an offer like that for a while!!! But I think I'll have to pass on that one, though I do know where you're coming from!! I used to have a Mobo scooter when I was a kid, loved it to bits, but my cruel parents left it for the bin men when we moved from Appleton. Thanks to eBay, though, I know have one again - but I don't ride it!!

Enjoy your chopper!

I would have sold my granny for a chopper bike when I was a lad. All my mates had them but I ended up with an old 3 speed heap of a boneshaker. :scared:

The ones to have if you can find them I believe are the yellow fizzy lemon and the neon pink ones that were limited editions.

I see your one is the re-incarnation model with the two piece saddle ( originally all one piece ).

They go for silly money these days, but I would still like one if the price was right.

Enjoy your chopper, they don't make em like that anymore.

I had a black chopper for my birthday.

I loved it....

It is still in my Dads Garage!!!

Some people never grow up it makes me sick!

Don't you realise you are hanging on to the past when you were probably 10 stone lighter and nearly good looking.

Get a life!

Oh by the way, fancy coming around to play with my Scaletric later, I've got a red and a bue car now.

lol.

Smart looking chopper Phil! You'd get silly money for that on ebay.

Unfortunately it would be way out of my price range.

I remember when mountain bikes started to get fashionable and you could'nt give your chopper away if you tried!!

Just goes to show, what goes round comes round.

Bah!!! I never had one. I was given a Tomahawk which was the mini Chopper as I wasnt quite big enough when the Choppers came out. However it was around the time of Evil Kinevel and I was obsessed with making it fly. Down at the local cricket ground we set up jumps where I would hurl myself full pelt up a ramp and jump over the other kids that were daft enough to lie down on the other side of the ramp. No helmets anything like that and quite a few injuries but the adults just watched and laughed and picked us up when it all went wrong. Happy days.
