TyrePal Bank Holiday sale

Seriously thinking about it. Not for van, but for me car. Car with fairly low profiles is horrible when pressure out by few lbs. Van drives fine on anything from 25 PSI to 50 :)

Had a solar set a few years now never lost any pressure from the caps but they seem to eat batteries.

Same here, had them for 3 years without any problems. So now just do a visual check of tyres and leave the pressure check to the Tyrepal system.
I have to say they are far superior to the system on my Golf GTD and the sons GTI. They appear to just warn you of low pressure whereas the Tyrepal system monitors low, high pressure and temp.

My concern is that with these fitted, you bypass the Schrader valve and depend on the dust cap seal to retain pressure.
I'd prefer the sort that have the sensors inside the tyre. They don't increase the risk of a soft tyre.

There is a very small risk but at least the monitor will warn you that there's a problem.
