Tyre pressure

Morning all . Does anyone know what tyre pressure should be .on a 1996 Peugeot boxer with swift royale 630 body .Tia. doug

Most on here run 60psi in there vans as rec 80psi seems to rattle the teeth a tad.

Ok thanks .as a first timer I'll be on here getting tips lol.

You must have done something very bad to be forced to live in dungannon. 😂
Lmao best years of my life.great base when I had my lorry plenty of work out of that wee country and great for my motorbike days lol

Michelin seem to say 65 psi front and 80 rear for every van as when you ring them they don't ask!
I suspect that they are not far out as I suspect most vans run near axle-tyre weight limit at rear and fronts are typically 3/4 of that load.
I gather that Continental will give you bespoke figures for their tyres and specific axle loads.

If I ran on recommend it would feel like I had solid tyres.
So I reduced & fiddled around with the pressures until I had a comfortable ride without going too soft & fouling up the MPG.
At the moment I’m using 65psi all round.

Wheel size is 205/70 r15 weight I dont know yet as just bought it last week. On log book its boxer 320 swb
I have 225/70/15 Conti Four Season tyres and van is rated at 4 tonnes, I run 4.5 bar all round as advised by Conti tech dept. 👍

Down to the weigh bridge and get it weighed first with all your kit and people you want to cart round with you. Then back home and take out all the things you can do without and down to the weigh bridge again to make sure you are no longer overweight on the axles. Once you have established the weight of your vehicle and the load on each axle you can then ask the tire manufacturer for the recommended pressures. Just driving round with no idea of how much the vehicle weighs is just asking for trouble. It may even invalidate your insurance if you have a prang.
