Two Gaslow 6Kg Cylinders types 1 and 2

SOLD TO Ems - Could anyone help with transport from Devon to Milton Keynes?

I currently have a a Gaslow system with two "old style" 6Kg cylinders in my van. I want to upgrade to two "new style" 11Kg cylinders. Gaslow say that if I turn up at their factory at Loughborough they will give me £80 off the cost of the new cylinders in return for the two old cylinders.

I live in Devon. I don't particularly want to go all the way to Loughborough. They will send me the new cylinders for £7.80 postage.

Would anyone like to match Gaslow's offer for the two 6Kg cylinders? (The cylinders are of type 1 and type 2 so they work on a two cylinder system.) If someone wants to offer £80 for the two we should be able to work out an economical way of delivering them.


Cylinder dimensions are:

6Kg cylinders carry 11.5 litres (80%). Height: 492 x
246mm diameter. Empty cylinder weight: 6.9Kg approx

Hiya roger,can you use the cylinder separate,I only want to use one,don't mind buying two also my van is a home build and my 6kg bottles just about fit not sure if a refillable would fit,any chance measuring top to bottom of cylinder,thanks Paul

Hi Paul,

You can certainly use one cylinder separately but you do need a Gaslow filling kit and a Gaslow hose to connect it to your regulator.

I'll have these for £80 please. Will be perfect for my new van! I have some time off coming up so could pick them up around the 15th Feb? Alternatively if any forum members are heading from Devon to MK and can get them near to me that would be great!

im down in Langport Somerset on Tuesday this week and on Thursday im in Southampton to Langport again if thats any help let me no.
