TV over the internet

There's a free service called TV Catchup available in the UK, which you can use over the internet.

Go here TVCatchup - Never Miss A Show Again to sign up.

Works really well too :)

Just beware - using a 3G dongle may not be a good option 'cos it downloads a LOT of data :(

Wi-fi should be great if you find a suitable wi-fi hotspot - see my other posting on this.

I didn't know about SeeSaw - but they're different offerings ...

The CatchUp site shows 'live' TV (despite its name) whereas SeeSaw seems to be stuff that's already been aired.

I don't think you can watch outside the UK - the service checks your IP address and internet service provider and it has to be UK based.

Both are potentially useful if you are somewhere where you can't get a TV signal, but do have access to wi-fi (or 3G if you have enough data transfer capacity).
