TV in Spain & Portugal

I have an ordinary aerial and digital TV, will it be possible to pick up local TV stations in Spain and Portugal. thanks Phil.

Last time we were in Portugal the tele progs were analouge but good fun as loads of english films with Portugese sub-titles.

Both Spain and Portugal use the European DVB-T standard which means that you should be able to pick up digital TV. Coverage is likely to be quite limited in Portugal where digital transmissions only started around the middle of last year I think. I believe it's more widely available in Spain.

I imagine that your TV will also pick up anagolue TV? If so you will need to check that it can be set to PAL B/G for both Spain and Portugal to pick up the local analogue channels.

i got a 20ins lcd tv with tuners for uk/europe/usa also you can record tv to a memorystick or sd card.and works 12v
got it from fleebay for £233.17 include post
