Hi everyone.
Ive just got a freeview lcd tv/dvd for my hymer.
Can anyone recommend a decent ariel. Moneys tight at the moment so i cant afford the sat dish type.
My hymer has an ariel socket fitted to the outside.

Most ariel's work but you will need a signal booster, I use a 12volt camping sat dish with freeview now and that worked out cheaper than my Status antenna with booster.

DON'T buy the Status 'mushroom' type - they're CRAP!

However the Status 535 directional ones fitted through the roof are superb!

You can always carry a house type one plus mast/pole and a booster if required but they are bulky and awkward to carry.
