Sorry to be upsetting some people, but will be glad when camper finished, so as to get away from the BIG BLACK BOX IN THE ROOM, taking away all my powers, since before Christmas not a lot to watch, all reality shows, and at Xmas all the films were repeated on one or more channels, have no idea why we have to buy a TV license to watch all the channels with adverts in, on some if you check the amount of time for the program against the time for adverts, not a lot in it.
If we are in the camper and need to watch an interesting program, wildlife documentary's we have the lap top, save on space not having a TV and trying to find a good reception, been their done it and got the t-shirt.

Some of you might say it is for the children, but most of them have i phones or such like and not interested in the TV, when I was a lad we only had a 9" TV, but parents played with us, the mother of our granddaughter just puts them in front of TV and leaves them, even her second child since she was 3 months old.
and now expecting her third.

We have our granddaughter most weekends and we play with her, or if she wants to she watch's cbbc.

my rant over

I bought a Moonraker digital aerial https://www.roadpro.co.uk/retail/12...-aerials/moonraker-digital-tv-aerial-1695.htm off ebay, they also sell them in Maplins & other places. After reading the reviews & somebody off this site said he had one I bought one for £29.95. I tried it on 2 TV's & struggled to get anything at all, a simple circular loop aerial the type that used to come with portable TV's would easily pick up a lot of the channels. I contacted the seller on ebay & he sent me another + the amplifier but it was the same, after contacting him again he refunded me the cost & said not to bother sending them back. So I have 2 aerials for free, I brought them with me on our trip down to Spain & have tried them a few times & still can't get sod all. Can't complain as I got refunded without any hassle but still using the loop aerial, chucked through the skylight last night & picked up over 30 Spanish digital TV stations. II haven't bothered with the satellite much as we can always get something in English to watch.

when I was a lad we only had a 9" TV,

9 inches exactly what I've got

and it came with all the bits and bobs to get it working, I just poke it through the skylight and wiggle it about a bit
